Cloud Acropolis has now revamped its new data center in New Nizwa Area, Nizwa, Oman. This site has been designed, implemented and operated by the latest standards that offer the highest reliabilities for Cloud Services.
Even though its power feed is single, it has dedicated Diesel Generator and Dual UPS Systems. The tank is big enough for 18 days of full load of operations. Beside the city power, everything else is fully redundant and tested thoroughly. 2 UPS, 2N colling systems, Fire detection and suppression systems, CCTV and facility monitoring… We understand the importance of each business to have a disaster recovery site and this has been built to offer DR as a Service.
In addition to having an actual capacity for 5 racks with 6 KW of generator and UPS backed up power, this site has already more than 400 TB of storage, a cluster of 6 fully redundant servers, redundant 100 GB and 10 GB network as well as redundant firewall and telecom capacity. The site has also a capacity of 8 office seats that can be used by our customers in case of need.
Our customers in Muscat, can easily obtain a DR service in Nizwa. Either we take image back up from customer’s Virtual Data Center in our Main site and we transfer them to DR site, or it can be set as High Available (HA) site.
