Disaster Recovery

No one can forecast the future. Issues happen every day. Every service must be resilient. Cloud Acropolis understands that. After many months of research, development and tests, we have arrived at the ideal solution to backup regularly servers and recover them within very few minutes in our DR site.

Here is how it works:

We backup any VM in an incremental manner every 10 to 20 minutes. These will be stored in a secondary storage which will be replicated in real time between the main site and our DR site in the selected geo location.

The moment the VM needs to be restored (based on a support ticket), our engineers will boot it up in our DR site. It will be identical to the main site, up to the internal IP. Then we will NAT an external IP to it and communicate it by replying to the support ticket. The new valid IP needs to be inserted in the DNS by either your engineers or ours.

For the entire process it should not take more than 30 minutes. However we are doing it under 9 minutes.

Here is what is needed:

• Rent the storage needed for your server (10 EUR per 100 GB per month)
• Fill up your account with credit for VM recovery (same price as your actual server)
• Recovery services (30 EUR per server)
• Internet Services depending on the needed speed
• Setup fee (30 EUR)

Et Voila! The servers have a DR setup. Not only will this service save your business in case of disaster, but also it will help to achieve business continuity and compliance for ISO, corporate, etc. at a very low rate.
