Firewall as a Service

Based on open source technology, on a dedicated virtual machine, the firewall will manage any and every aspect of the traffic in/out/within your VLAN. Your administrators can utilize its graphical user interface to create routing, nation, implement IPSec, create VPN… Cloud Acropolis can also offer managed services for this FWaaS.

The outside network traffic will be streamlined to this FWaaS prior to get into your servers. This traffic then will follow up all the needed corporate and security policies implemented in the firewall by the Network and Security administrator. Once the traffic is “clean” (or even encrypted) then it will reach the servers. Similar policies can be set for network traffic in between the servers in the virtual data center in Cloud Acropolis.

This setup will create an unprecedented level of network security. If managed by the customer, even Cloud Acropolis will not be able to see the traffic after this FWaaS.
