Cloud Acropolis has now built a brand-new data center in Ghala Industrial Area, Muscat, Oman. All deigns, implementation and operations are based on TIA 942 Rating IV. This enabled us to offer a minimum availability of 99.998% at facility level.
Our state of art data center has 2 dedicated power lines from 2 transformers that at already part of the Oman electricity Grid. Each line is backed off by its own dedicated Diesel Generator and UPS System. An ATS manages the load for each power.
The total capacity of the data center is 1600 KW (2x800 KW) with up to 80 Racks at 6 KW. The cooling capacity is also fully redundant and tested for this load. Fire detection and suppression system is based in NOVEC in the data center (in rack equipment) and Oxy Reduct chemical power in the facility area. As per Principe we refuse the use of CO2 in our environment.
The access to all facility is managed via a centralized biometric system. There are more than 40 cameras, monitored 24/4 by our colleagues on site. The entire facility has been built to withstand earthquake as per TIA 942 Rating IV, even though Oman is not a seismic region.
The entire operation is certified and follows ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and PCI DSS. The setup is also certified by MTCIT of Oman. To know more about our Muscat site, please click here.
